Astronomers use scientific catalog numbers for stars, so naming is symbolic. Your chosen name is recorded in our registry, recorded on a digital certificate, and paired with your star’s unique coordinates.
It’s a meaningful, personal keepsake gift. This is a novelty / symbolic gift service, not recognized by IAU (International Astronomical Union).
Q2. Will I be able to see my star in the night sky?
Yes — every star we assign has real celestial coordinates. Depending on brightness and location, some may be visible with the naked eye, others with a telescope or star app.
Q3. How fast will my order arrive?
Digital certificate: emailed instantly.
Gift box: shipped within 1–2 business days. In Australia, delivery usually takes 3–5 days. For the UK/USA, allow 7–14 days depending on shipping option.
Q4. What’s included in the gift box?
Every box contains your star map and a keepsake box. You’ll also receive a digital copy by email, once you register your star name.
Q5. Can I add a personal message?
Yes — during checkout you can enter the recipient’s name, and the Star Name. These appear on the certificate and make the gift truly one-of-a-kind.
